Is Leaky Gut the Cause of Your Symptoms?

Mediterranean Sardine Salad


  • 2 x 120g cans sardines (sautéed with cherry tomatoes)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Handful sundried tomatoes
  • 90g salad leaves
  • 1 tbsp red wine vinegar
  • Handful green olives
  • 1 tbsp capers, drained

A super healthy salad packed with punchy flavours. Oily fish, olives, and capers hero the dish.

Nutrition nuggets: Fish has been shown to protect against heart disease and cancer because of a high omega-3 fatty acid content. Choosing smaller fish such as sardines is best as they accumulate less mercury, PCBs, and environmental toxins.


  1. Mix the olive oil and vinegar
  2. Add the capers, olives, tomatoes, and sardines to the salad leaves
  3. Drizzle the olive oil and vinegar dressing over the salad
  4. Gently toss the salad
