Detox Smoothie Recipe
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 Apple (Fuji)
(or other sweet variety) - 1 banana
- 1 inch of turmeric root
- 1 tbsp of flaxseed
- 1 lemon, peeled
- 1 – 2 inch piece of fresh ginger root, peeled
- 2 cups spinach
- 1 ½ cups water
Below is my favourite smoothie recipe – I highly recommend this to detox as it provides lots of nutrients which supports liver to detoxify toxins. This is helpful in losing those excess pounds and feeling great.
LEMON TURMERIC ZINGER
Directions:
In a high-speed blender, blend apple, turmeric root, banana, lemon, ginger, spinach and water until creamy. Enjoy!
Makes: 1 quart
