Are Probiotics Necessary?
What are Probiotics?
Probiotics are bacteria which are beneficial to our body. It is commonly found in yoghurts, fermented food, and supplements. It helps with the digestive system and improves the immune system. Probiotics are typically prescribed to those with Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) and Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD).
Benefits of Consuming Probiotics
- Better Digestive System
With the high amount of CFUs present in our probiotics, it can help to balance the good and harmful bacteria in the gut. This will allow you to enjoy better digestive health and prevent diarrhoea caused by antibiotics.
A study has also shown that probiotics can benefit those with Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS).
- Improve your Immune System
Research on probiotics has shown that they can boost the production of immune cells, such as Immunoglobulin A (IgA) and Natural Killer (NK) cells. These antibodies act as the front line of defence against viruses and infections.
Klaire Labs Probiotics
